Hotel St. James New York

Clean hotel, I liked staff and location. Comfortable beds and a safe box, TV set and ironing facilities. The bathroom was fairly clean but it worked for my 6 day stay.

Its queen room was vintage with excellent shower and a comfortable bed, for example.

Quaint hotel, stayed here for 5 nights and had a fine experience. I liked that the room was brand-new with excellent shower. Actually everything was perfectly fine, my next choice again in New York City.

It was surely a real good stay at a wonderfully located hotel close to times sq. I liked it, location and rooms were great.

The room was bright and well priced. The restaurant was lovely, and the staff polite.

The room was adequate, the bed was comfy, the staff were consistently courteous! There were climate control and free wireless internet access in the room, liked that. Good food, excellent service. Irish bar with hot drinks.

The staff are knowledgeable, the hotel is quirky and with perfect location right by Central Park and Times Square and others.

The hotel was brilliant with ideal location really close to the subway and Times Square and Theatre District. Rooms with everyday towels.

The hotel was clean, staff was pleasant. Great dishes, central location. It was also within walking distance of Rockefeller Center.

receptionist is super nice (especially the one who wears glasses, he transmits his joie de vivre). hotel is very clean and location is perfect for visits. Concerning the noise, we should not expect absolute calm, it's right next to Times Square but it didn't bother us at all.

If you really need to find a defect it's that the decor is old-fashioned, especially the carpet.

Ideal location in the heart of Times Square. Very good price. Quiet room (overlooking a courtyard). Check in very fast. Room is quite spacious and well equipped, room is clean and well staffed. I recommend this hotel to people who come as tourists to explore the city.

It's a pity that there is no possibility to have breakfast on site. I didn't like the fact that I had to pay 5$ for the rental of a locker to put my luggage between the check out and my plane (5 hours of time), I think a hotel should be able to store luggage for free for its customers. Badly insulated window we had quite cold in the room. But there are enough blankets.

No accessible outlet in the bedroom, one outlet only in the bathroom. No soundproofing with neighbouring rooms.

Location at 2 steps from times square... Staff listening. Perfect neighborhood to visit New York...in the heart of Manhattan. Comfortable and spacious room. Large and functional bathroom. Lots of restaurants in the area...very lively neighborhood...
